Born in Tangiers to bohemian French and Moroccan parents, he spent his childhood in Europe, Africa, and South America, finally settling in the United States to earn his doctorate in theology. His grandparents were spiritualists, and his great-aunt a lively singer who performed with Josephine Baker and was close friends with Gertrude Stein. A gregarious, cultured, and well-spoken presence in the Tearoom, Kimeo brings soul and dedication to his work, keeps the Tearoom running, and charms all with his warmth and stories.
